As you learned earlier, summertime is the perfect time for some specific jobs, like hospitality and school jobs. However, if you aren’t looking for a job in these industries, you can prepare yourself for future job application opportunities.
Applying to jobs even during hiring downtime makes you more prepared and ready for the hight of the hiring season. Although the majority of jobs are not typically available during this time, you may still find a decent selection of opportunities. However, it is very likely that you will not get a call back about your application until autumn, as many hiring managers are on holiday during the summer.
