The average NFL stadium holds around 70,000 fans. Madison Square Garden seats just under 20,000. But the stadium of honest software opinions that G2 has built? It now hosts more voices than the entire population of Chicago (2.664 million), which is also our headquarters.
When we reached our 1 million reviews in 2019, it felt like we'd summited Everest. By our 2nd million in 2023, we'd proven this wasn't just a mountain but an entire range we were mapping for the business world. Now at 3 million authentic reviews just two years later, G2 has created something unprecedented: software's most comprehensive feedback ecosystem.

Recognizing this, G2 embarked on an ambitious localization journey, embracing Spanish, German, French, and Portuguese to make our platform truly accessible to global audiences. G2’s localized views improve accessibility and engagement by providing a seamless, multilingual experience for global buyers. Through these strategic localization efforts, we've made our most trafficked pages – including product profiles, comparison pages, and category pages – accessible to a truly global audience.
The impact has been immediate and substantial. Within just two months of launching enhanced localization, we've welcomed over 90,000 new buyer visits and secured rankings for 30,000 new global keywords. Our French-speaking audience is growing at an extraordinary 45% week-over-week, demonstrating the enormous appetite for localized software insights.
In 2025 alone, we’ve seen over 71k reviews in English, 857 in Spanish, and 1500+ combined across French and Portuguese.
Even our very own Monty – the world's first AI software expert – has expanded its capabilities to interact with users in multiple languages. It can now provide tailored product recommendations and answer questions across our entire catalog in the user's preferred language. These AI-powered enhancements, combined with our localization strategy, ensure that software buyers worldwide can access the insights they need, regardless of their native language.

The most striking trend is the explosive growth in AI-related software reviews. While non-AI categories grew by a healthy 51%, AI categories experienced a staggering 191% growth between 2023 and March 2025.
