G2’s REACH Featured as Best Email Signature Design 2019 by Sigstr

In 2018, Sigstr launched its inaugural September Issue, which highlights the best and boldest email signature designs. Think of it like Vogue’s September Issue, but replace fashion trends with email banners.

We’re excited to announce that G2’s email signature design highlighting REACH has been chosen by the Sigstr team to be featured in their upcoming September Issue for 2019.

The idea behind REACH branding strategy

At G2, we’ve worked to build a brand that aligns with our company values and helps connect us with our audience and customers. Helping businesses reach their potential is at the core of what we do, and later became the inspiration for launching our first-ever, one-day-only conference: REACH.

When the time came to start thinking event branding and design, our creative team was put to the test: we were challenged to create a brand that conveys the essence of G2, but is also strong enough to exist on its own. The final design for REACH takes G2’s core values and expresses them in a way that’s unique to this event and its attendees.

The email banner design

The email banner for REACH was the work of our lead brand designer, Laura Weiss. When it came to creating it, Weiss knew it was important to make the most of a small space.

“Using an animation to create two scenes was a no-brainer for me. You always want movement to come from something. In this case, we used the spinning chevron to create the transition between the first and second scene,” says Weiss.

The final result? An animated email banner complete with a rotating chevron, engaging copy, bold colors, and a call-to-action prompting users to click and learn more about the event.

Upgrading your brand strategy

Coming up with a branding and design strategy doesn’t happen overnight. In reality, the branding and design for REACH 2019 has been a work in progress for over six months. We’re thrilled to be recognized for the work we’ve been doing and there’s still a lot left to learn – no better place to start than at REACH.
