How to Unblock Someone on Gmail

Sometimes it’s nice to give someone a second chance.

There are many ways that you can do this, and one of the easier ways is to unblock someone on Gmail. If you aren’t sure how to do so, it’s simpler than you may think. Let’s get started.

1. Click the gear icon and open Settings

Once you’re logged into your Gmail account, click the gear icon in the upper right-hand corner. From the dropdown menu, select Settings.

2. Click Filters and Blocked Addresses

From the top menu, click Filters and Blocked Address.

3. Click unblock

This page will show you a list of all of the email addresses you have blocked. Find the address you’d like to receive emails from again, and click unblock.

4. Confirm unblocking

Lastly, confirm that you want to unblock this email address to start seeing their messages in your inbox again.
